When Blake White started his company in
1960 many things were different about the
fuel delivery environment. Self-service
and pay-at-the-pump were strange
terms. Environmental and trade rules were
lax. The ways that we now obtain and pay
for fuel and the rules governing those
processes are vastly different. But some
things do stay the same. Blake passed his
work ethic to sons Bill and Dale, who
bring the same dedication to value and
quality to work every day.In 1960, the
company's primary business was installing
and maintaining gasoline pumps. Today the
company provides a wide range of products
and services in the fuel delivery
industry. White's Pump Service and Supply
can provide complete site installation
from tanks to pumps, islands to canopies
and point of sale consoles. We do this
under state certification, but we don't
only follow the rules--we've had a hand
in formulating them, too.
Bill White, president of the company,
has been active in several state advisory
committees. He served on the advisory
committee that helped formulate
guidelines for Texas House Bill HB1588,
the law that in 1989 established the
Petroleum Storage Tank Remediation Fund.
He then sat on the committee that
establishes protocols for testing and
licensing of undergrount storage tank
installers in the state of Texas. The
governor appointed Bill White to a six
year term to the committee in 1990. Bill
holds the first license issued in Texas:
CRP 000001.
The dedication to hard work and
professionalism extends to all the
employees and White's Pump Service and
Supply. We make sure that each person
working on your equipment participates in
continuing education and training so that
they stay up-to-date on the latest
equipment and certification on the rules
that protect us all .
